Rachel Kolesar has been an unwavering advocate for clients navigating high-net-worth divorce and family law matters. With a keen focus on asset identification, valuation, and tracing, Rachel helps clients understand and resolve complex financial disputes involving business interests, executive compensation, and real estate holdings. Her background also includes the management of contentious parenting issues, and she frequently represents clients in proceedings involving custody evaluations, vocational assessments, and income imputation analyses.

Rachel works closely with her clients to ensure clarity and control during every stage of the legal process. Whether through strategic litigation, targeted negotiations, or participation in mediation and collaborative law, Rachel brings precision and compassion to resolving some of the most sensitive and high-stakes family law matters. She is also highly experienced in drafting and negotiating sophisticated agreements, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, marital settlement agreements, and parenting plans.

Prior to joining Schiller DuCanto & Fleck, Rachel independently managed a substantial portfolio of family law clients, specializing in high-net-worth divorce proceedings. Her work included identifying and valuing assets, tracing funds, fraud and dissipation claims, and handling executive compensation and real estate interests. Rachel was also crucial in settlement negotiations, mediation, and collaborative law processes.

Rachel has been repeatedly recognized for her excellence in family law. She has been named an Illinois Super Lawyers “Rising Star” every year from 2022 through 2025, included in Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” from 2023 to 2025, and selected as an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers since 2018.
