"Divorce is too often considered a zero-sum game. I help clients see beyond the construct of divorce as necessitating a win or a loss, but rather an exercise in problem solving – where the resolution is a family redesigned, one which respectfully accommodates spousal differences, individual goals, and the well-being of a family."

Jennifer Enloe is a partner with Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP who practices exclusively in the area of family law and family law mediation. Jennifer fundamentally believes that family conflict is best resolved outside of the courtroom whenever possible, allowing the parties to retain control of how their family is reshaped and restructured. This approach allows families to prioritize the preservation of their wealth and the integrity of familial relationships as they navigate their next chapter. Through Jennifer’s extensive experience and interpersonal skills, she has developed a reputation as an astute negotiator and problem solver, who helps clients reach amicable resolutions through mediation or alternative dispute methods. Jennifer’s resolution-focused approach and ability to facilitate respectful dialogue in an otherwise contentious arena guides Jennifer in her practice as both a mediator and advocate.

Jennifer has completed the Divorce Mediation Skills Training program at Northwestern University, which skills and techniques she uses to resolve both amicable and high-conflict family matters. She is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts which is an interdisciplinary association of family law professionals whose goal is to improve adversarial family law litigation. Jennifer has also completed training as a Collaborative professional through Collaborative Divorce Illinois.

Jennifer is recognized as an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers, a designation given to fewer than 2% of the attorneys in Illinois who are under 40 years of age.

Jennifer received her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (UIC) in May of 2009. While in law school, she served as a research assistant to Professor Diane Kaplan and assisted her in a study of “safe haven” laws. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Charles Mortimer Griffin Prize in Religion.

Jennifer was honored to speak in the National Business Institute’s “Oddities and Challenges of Family Law” in June, 2014 and “Advanced Family Law” in June, 2015.
