Ms. Pignato started her career at Schiller DuCanto & Fleck, LLP, as a paralegal in 2015 and became a Staff Attorney in 2018. Ms. Pignato graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan in September 2000. While a law student, she was the President of the American Bar Association, Law Student Division. Prior to graduating, she interned at the Cook County State’s Attorneys Office, in the Felony Crimes Unit, where under the supervisor of a State’s Attorney she conducted a number of bench trials.
Prior to starting her employment with Schiller DuCanto & Fleck, LLP, Ms. Pignato worked with a corporate law firm in the Chicagoland area in the Litigation and Motor Vehicle Department. During her employment, Ms. Pignato gained much knowledge of Administrative Law and State and Federal Court procedures of not only the Illinois courts, but of other state’s jurisdiction.
After becoming a member of the Bar, Ms. Pignato through Prairie State Legal Services, provided legal representation for individuals that could not otherwise afford legal counsel furthering her interest in Family Law.
