Eric R. Pfanenstiel

"The divorce process is never easy for anyone.  My goal is to exceed expectations by simplifying the process and providing creative options for my clients."

Eric Pfanenstiel’s diverse professional background and family law experience allow him to quickly identify issues and immediately provide perspective and goals for his clients.  Mr. Pfanenstiel prides himself in offering his clients a practical approach to their cases with an attention to detail to tackle any complex financial or custody issues.

Prior to his legal career, Mr. Pfanenstiel was a manager with a Chicago based restaurant group and gained experience in the technology industry.  Both of these experiences required quick, critical responses and dedication to client service.  Mr. Pfanenstiel applies his ability to bring calculated, effective resolutions to the ever-changing environment of dissolution cases.  In the practice of family law, no one idea may be applied to every case.  Having successfully litigated many complex legal, financial, and custody based matters, he has applied his litigation skills to the successful resolution of many different matters “outside the box” thinking and methods.

Mr. Pfanenstiel immerses himself in the practice of family law.  He has served as a Vice-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association Domestic Relations Committee and as a Chair and Legislative Liaison of the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association Family Law Committee.  Mr. Pfanenstiel has designed and moderated numerous continuing legal education presentations through the Chicago Bar Association.

Mr. Pfanenstiel earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and earned his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law where he received a Certificate in Taxation.
